Micro-crystalline waxes are a type of wax that we produce by de-oiling petrolatum. We characterize Micro crystalline by the fineness of its crystals in contrast to the larger crystal of paraffin wax. Micro-crystalline waxes can generally be put into two categories: “laminating” grades and “hardening” grades. Uses: in cosmetics and beauty products as a viscosity agent, binder and emollient, and is often considered an alternative to paraffin wax. Packing: bag, carton, drum
